Bead Folding with Rowena Henderson

This class is a development of Rowena's beaded Fortune Teller that teaches you her formula of two-drop Brick stitch shapes combined with size 15 seed bead hinges to make an array of kinetic beadwork in almost any shape you desire.

If you can fold it out of paper, you can make it in beads - every single piece can fold (or unfold) into a perfectly flat sheet of beadwork.

Skill level:  Intermediate

Knowledge of Brick stitch essential.

You don't need to be a member to enjoy this workshop, so why not invite a friend to join you.  Limited spaces available so please book early to avoid disappointment by clicking here.

Mini Diamonds Cuff with Karen Gibson-Brown

One shape, multiple pattern choices, a limited amount of beads and everyone's favourite Peyote stitch are the perfect recipe for a fun day of beading.

Single row bracelet or multi row cuff?  Monochromatic colour scheme or a Harlequin effect?  Join as you go or join later?

Keep it simple with a single row bracelet - perfect for using up left over beads from previous projects or take it up a notch, and give 'the little grey cells' a work out, whilst figuring out what connects with what and how.

The choices are yours to make as you are shown step-by-step what to do and how to use the tools provided, to create your own Mini Diamonds Cuff.

Skill level:  Confident beginner to advanced.

Knowledge of Peyote in the round would be advantageous.

Waves of Herringbone rope ebb and flow around an oval focal crystal. Crystal beads highlight the variation of the colours in the waters and provide some extra glitter.

Freeform Bracelet with Sylvia Fairhurst

For those who squeal at the very thought of 'Random', Sylvia has to say "Freeform is NOT random!"

This captivating bracelet was inspired by the colours of the plant 'Lantana' whose colours invoke thoughts of fun and frivolity.  The bracelets structure begins quite formally then branches out into something that is quite unique to you. Once you have the base sized up, the real fun begins!

Using different shapes, sizes and colours to embellish your piece, you have the freedom to choose what you use and when... which is definitely not random. You may also use a combination of texture and sparkle, resulting in a beautiful structure that combines a variety of stitches.

Skill level:  Suitable for all levels
